The human –
the strongest force

against hunger!

Our answer

to COVID-19

We liberate affected people
from the cycle of poverty.

With our methodology, we enable women and men in developing countries to develop their skills, resources and decision-making power. This enables them to develop their human potential and thus contribute to improving their lives and those of their communities.

Women are on
most affected.

FACT # 1:

Women make up almost half of all farmers in the world.

FACT # 2:

Nevertheless, 60% of the people suffering from hunger in the world are women.

FACT # 3:

If women farmers had access to the same resources as men, there could be 150 million fewer starving people in the world.

Hunger is about more than just food.
It is about people.

690 million people suffer from chronic hunger. We are committed to the sustainable eradication of chronic hunger and extreme poverty in accordance with the goals of sustainable development (Agenda 2030). The focus is on the women- and community-based “bottom-up” approach.

Our impact

We reach people in Africa, Southeast Asia and Latin America.

We work where it matters.

Instead of making small contributions on the periphery, we work at the heart of the problem – building self-confidence at the grassroots level, empowering women as key agents of change and forging effective partnerships with local authorities.
